Meet Our Pastor Gerald Jones is the founding Pastor of The Gate Church North Dallas in Plano, Texas. In January 2019 he with his wife, Sebrena by his side, obeyed God’s command to start a ministry that would reach the community. Pastor Gerald’s vision for The Gate Church and his work to foster a ministry that would reflect Christ, that is Called, Chosen, Commissioned, and Commanded to serve others through an unwavering faith in God. Pastor Gerald and his wife of more than 30 years have two daughters, Sydni and Chasity.

INSIDE THE GATE The Gate ​ A gate is an opening or point of entry that can be used as a passageway for individuals to enter a space or dwelling place. Spiritual gates are known to present Jesus Christ as the means of accessing God the Father. By faith and belief in the powerful blood of The Lamb of God, we are given access into God’s presence . ​ ​ We were created by God for God, to worship and praise His Holy Name. We were created in the likeness and fullness of God. And, God being Love, we were created for love by Love. ​ We are accepting of who you are and will meet you where you are. So, no matter what your background or previous church experience, we hope that you find a place of love and peace through your connection to The Gate. We will shower you with God’s unconditional love that dwells deep within us. ​ ​ Please come find your place within The Gate.

Inside The Gate What You Can Expect: ​ You will feel welcomed at The Gate. Come as you are. No judgments. No secret handshakes. No pretenses. ​ The Gate provides a casual church environment where you can expect uplifting praise & worship and a Scripture-based message applicable to everyday life. ​ The family focus at The Gate gives your kids a fun, comfortable and safe environment where they will love learning about God and The Bible with others their age . Location: ​ We currently meet for Sunday morning services at the Hope Community Center – 3405 Custer Road, Plano, TX 75023. ​ Time: ​ Each Sunday the service starts promptly at 8:15 am and runs approximately 60 - 75 minutes. ​ The Gate Kids: ​ All kids ages 2 years to 5th grade are welcome to join the Gate Children’s Church service. Their service lasts through the duration of The regular church service. ​ Parking: ​ There is ample parking in front of the church. There are also parking spaces designated for “visitors” available first-come, first serve. Have questions? We’re here to answer them. Bible Study Growing in Christ and sustaining our walk with Him are foundational focuses of The Gate Church.
